Recently, there was a huge controversy around the relationship of Ravindra Jadeja with his father. Anirudhsinh, Ravindra Jadeja father claimed that his son has abandoned him since he married Rivaba Solnaki. However, Ravindra Jadeja denied those allegations and said that everything his father said was part of a news script. Then he went on to dedicate his Man of the Match award for the IND vs ENG 3rd Test to his wife Rivaba Jadeja 


Ravindra Jadeja, born on December 6, 1988, is an esteemed Indian cricketer renowned for his remarkable contributions across all formats of the game. He has represented the Indian national cricket team with distinction and has also served as the captain of the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. 





Jadeja, hailed as one of the finest all-rounders of his generation, exhibits prowess with both bat and ball. His left-handed batting and left-arm orthodox spin bowling have earned him accolades, including the distinction of becoming the fifth Indian player to achieve the milestone of scoring 2,000 runs and taking 200 wickets in Test cricket, accomplishing this feat in 2021. Notably, he was the leading wicket-taker in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy, playing a pivotal role in India’s triumph. 


In domestic cricket, Jadeja represents Saurashtra with distinction. His exceptional performances in the Indian Premier League have also garnered praise, having captained the Chennai Super Kings and displayed exemplary leadership skills. 


Jadeja’s journey in cricket began during his tenure as the vice-captain of the Indian U-19 cricket team, which clinched the World Cup in Malaysia in 2008 under the leadership of Virat Kohli. He made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in February 2009 and his Test debut against England in December 2012. 


Off the field, Jadeja hails from a Gujarati Rajput Hindu family in Navagam Ghed city of Jamnagar district in Gujarat. His father, Anirudh, worked as a watchman for a private security agency, nurturing dreams of seeing his son become an army officer. However, Jadeja’s passion for cricket outweighed other aspirations, despite initial apprehension. 


Tragically, Jadeja lost his mother, Lata, in an accident in 2005, which deeply impacted him and nearly led him to quit cricket. His sister, Naina, works as a nurse. Currently residing in Jamnagar, Jadeja tied the knot with politician Rivaba Solanki on April 17, 2016. The couple welcomed their daughter in June 2017.
